In Luke 21 Jesus speaks of giving. He sees rich men giving their large offerings and watches as a poor widow puts in two pennies. He explains to his disciples that this poor woman has given far more than anyone else. See, everyone else gave money they would not miss, but the woman gave all she had even though she could not afford it.

Our giving should be this same way. It is much greater to give what little we can than to flaunt and give extravegantly from what we will not miss.
